On a cold winter’s day, there are some things that just bring comfort. A piping-hot bowl of hearty stew, a comfortable chair with a dog on the ottoman at one’s feet, a warm favourite sweater…. Life is good.

How do you know when your life has reached a point of stability? When you can get out of bed, go to the kitchen, make noise (grinding beans for coffee), come back, and the dog doesn’t even lift his head, then your life is stable.
